Ragged pictures
is a London-based independent production company
founded in 2020 by producer, writer and director R.E. Wolfe
and director and choreographer Bess Noakes-Kettel.
Since achieving international success with its first experimental dance film Align, which claimed 20 awards on the film festival circuit in 2020 and 2021, including Best Original Score and Best Cinematography of a Black and White Short (Los Angeles Cinematography Awards 2020), the company has since embarked on several new projects including an upcoming feature docudrama The Devil Has All The Best Tunes, narrative short What’s Your Weapon?, and the experimental short film Runt.

Working with talented cinematographers, editors, musicians, actors and dancers, Ragged Pictures is a company that believes in the power of film and thus is conscious of the responsibility of storytelling through filmmaking.
